A Dripping Springs Skatepark Fundraiser
We are thrilled to release details about our first annual fundraiser, in collaboration with Real Ale Brewing Company, for the Dripping Springs Skatepark. Drop in @ Real Ale will be a family friendly event and fun for all ages, while celebrating the creativity and art of skateboarding.
What.
The goal of this event is to raise funds for a regional skatepark in Dripping Springs, TX. Additional information, and a detailed history of this project, can be found on our home page. Our friends in Taylor, TX, did a fantastic job fundraising for their skatepark and we’re following their successful model using a skateboard art auction to raise funds. This silent auction will feature boards designed and created by local, and national, artists. The skateboards will be displayed at the Real Ale Brewery, just outside of Austin, TX, in an art gallery setting. Anyone can place bids online once the silent auction begins. 100% of the auction proceeds will go to the Dripping Springs Skatepark fund.

When.
Our Drop In @ Real Ale fundraiser for the Dripping Springs Skatepark will coincide with National Go Skateboarding Day. On Friday, June 21, 2019, an invite only dinner will be held at Real Ale Brewery from 7-10 pm to recognize the event sponsors.
On Saturday, June 22, from 12-5 pm the festivities get going with a fun event for all ages at the brewery. In addition to the silent auction with the one-of-a kind skateboards designed by creative artists, this family friendly event will include skateboarding, vendors, music, and food.
Where.
Real Ale Brewing Company has generously offered their brewery as the destination for our event. The facility is located just west of Austin, in the quaint town of Blanco, TX. It’s an easy drive, through the beautiful Texas Hill Country, from Austin or San Antonio. The Brewery is located at 231 San Saba Ct, Blanco, TX, 78606 or simply enter "Real Ale Brewing Company" into your navigation app.

We are psyched about the variety of artists who will be featured in the Drop In @ Real Ale silent auction. We are incredibly grateful for these talented individuals who have generously donated their time and talents to support the Dripping Springs Skatepark. Each artist is supplied with a blank skateboard deck, provided by our non-profit, and all boards will be available for auction beginning June 1, 2019. Below is a small sample of boards that we’ve already received from a handful of artists around the country. Over 100 artists have committed to supporting our project. Sponsors.
Sponsors will be able to attend our invite-only dinner, held at Real Ale Brewery, the Friday night before the big event. In addition to drinks and dining, those in attendance will enjoy perks provided by the Dripping Springs Skatepark Committee and Real Ale Brewing Company and be given early bidding rights at the silent auction.
